The designer SHINO of  DRESSenDORIS Co. is self-taught in creating visually appealing costumes influenced by the Japanese culture of Visual Kei bands. He loves the Crow Tribe and live music clubs, and has made great strides as a designer specializing in stage costumes. He launched his own collection under his own name at this year's Fashion Week. This collection expresses one designer's view of the world, opening the door to the self as if reaching for the other side of a mirror - a piece of clothing that brings out the best of the artist's unique charm. Shino creates the costume production team based in Tokyo, Japan.

How did you learn your skills?

I went to a vocational school for a while. What I couldn't learn in the basics of vocational school, I went to a live music club and looked at stage costumes. I studied by myself.

Who are you as a designer? Aesthetic? Customer? Brand?

I think he is a person who has a positive and challenging spirit as a designer.

What comes easiest for you as a designer? What is hardest?

As a designer, it is easy to come up with interesting things and inspiration, but it is difficult to put them into shape. We value the encounter with the fabric that matches the image.

Where do you find inspiration for new collections? How important is color to your design process?

I feel inspired by the encounter with an exciting artist. The designs and color images that you want to put on the person will overflow.
